LEOPARD AND SNAKE SKIN PRINTS

50 IS NOT OLD | LEOPARD AND SNAKE SKIN PRINTS | FASHION OVER 40If it could have been possible, today was even more busy and stressful than yesterday!!! How could that be, you might ask. Lol! Before I begin my story, let me say that I get a lot of emails and I talk to a lot of people who are interested in starting a blog. They want to know how much time it takes, how you learn to link to clothing, how you make money, etc. I am sooo happy that none of them talked to me today because I wouldn’t have been painting a pretty picture for them. Lol! But, I am in a better frame of mind now, so feel free to ask away if you have blogging questions. Now, for my story…..50 IS NOT OLD | LEOPARD AND SNAKE SKIN PRINTS | FASHION OVER 40Most of you are probably aware that I schedule my daily posts and they “normally” go live at 1:00 am EST. Joe and I are NOT night owls and if we make it until 11:00 pm, then we are really doing good. However, for some reason, we were up until after midnight before Joe asked me if it was time for me to go “do” my face. That is his way of saying if I want to do my skincare routine then I better get started. I was almost ready to get up from the table when I saw an email come through from my security on the blog. It said that my blog IP address been blacklisted! I freaked out and frantically started trying to scan and fix any problem. I have lots of security measures on the blog so I couldn’t figure out what or how something was going on. Finally at around 1:30 am, I gave up and went to bed after I had made sure that the post didn’t go live. I tossed and turned all night until 5:00 am when I got up and managed to get my hosting company on the phone to see if we could get the issue fixed. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my website. WHEW!!! Evidently, I share an IP address with around 50 people (don’t ask me how that works) and one of them had a problem. I hope they got their issue fixed but I am just thrilled to know that my site was secure. Shucks, I pay a lot of money to make sure that my site stays secure and I was not going to be a happy camper if it wasn’t.50 IS NOT OLD | LEOPARD AND SNAKE SKIN PRINTS | FASHION OVER 40 I am crushing on this leopard print t-shirt! I just got this in the mail on Wednesday and I couldn’t wait to wear it. This is a new brand that I am trying out called Topshop and so far they are hitting a home run! This is a slim fit so you don’t have that boxy look and I ordered my normal size of 10, and as you can see, it fits perfectly. This top is very affordable and is machine washable so that is fabulous!!! I saw that the sizes are already starting to get limited so I am going to give you a few others to choose from. BTW, I have a large breakdown on the Labor Day Sales that are happening and if you are interested in getting that then subscribe to my “new” Weekly Newsletter and they are all listed for you. Go HERE to sign up and be sure to pick the weekly newsletter. If you currently get my daily posts via email, that will continue without any issue, but you will not receive the newsletter unless you sign up for it. If you sign up for the newsletter then that will only be emailed to you once a week on Saturday. Let me know if you have any issues with signing up. There are several steps that you have to go through, just keep hitting the subscribe button until you get the message that says you will get a confirmation email.

50 IS NOT OLD | LEOPARD AND SNAKE SKIN PRINTS | FASHION OVER 40The snake print round crossbody handbag is also by TopShop. I told you that this brand is fast becoming a favorite of mine. This round canteen style purse is a trend that I have been seeing for a while. In fact, round purses of any size are a big trend this year. I love the size of this one even though it is quite a bit smaller than I normally carry. The snake print and the tortoiseshell handles really make this purse stand out. What you are going to love is the price. You can thank me later. Lol!!!50 IS NOT OLD | LEOPARD AND SNAKE SKIN PRINTS | FASHION OVER 40 The jeans that I have on are some skinny jeans that I got a month or so ago in my Trunk Club shipment. These are by NYDJ which has become one of my favorite brands when it comes to jeans. This pair features the release hem which is a hot trend right now. Just because these are cropped jeans does not mean that I won’t wear them in the fall and winter. I will wear these with a knee-high boot and no one will ever be the wiser except you gurls. Lol!

I am sure that some of you are also wondering about the Michael Kors sandals that I have on. Aren’t these cute? The great thing is that they are also comfortable!

50 IS NOT OLD | LEOPARD AND SNAKE SKIN PRINTS | FASHION OVER 40Thanks to all of you who are going to take a chance on my Weekly Newsletter. This will not be emailed out at the same time that the post goes live. It will be sent out by me at some point during Saturday morning. Go HERE to sign up!!!

  2. I was so happy when I got your first weekly newsletter!! Everything worked out perfect and I’m sure most of us don’t mind being part of the guinea pig group! I absolutely love leopard print, in fact this past winter I bought two of the same tops (I wanted a back up) and i purchased a pair of leopard pumps from Macy’s online – on sale i might add! I think those dark jeans really make that shirt stand out. The purse is cute too!!
