We are back from vacation and we had a great time while we were there. It was wonderful to spend some time with the kids but the best thing was just being able to walk down to the beach and chill for a couple of hours. In the past, we had gotten to where we wouldn’t go on vacations in the summer because that is the busiest time for the lumber company. But, there was a week that wasn’t already rented so we decided to sneak away for a couple of days. Joe is doing much better about taking pictures so I have to give him a big shoutout. But, he was a little lazy this day and didn’t want to walk outside to the beach. He said, “just go out on the balcony, it will be fine.” I explained that since it was so bright behind me that it wouldn’t be bright enough on my face. He explained to me that “it will do.” Don’t you gurls take up for him either. He is all the time telling me that the “gurls” will take up for him and that you all like him. Lol! He is such a hoot. I wish you could see these earrings better because they are super cute. Don’t worry, I am loving them and keep grabbing them every time I get an opportunity so you will see plenty of them later. These are called the Georgette and they are faux shells (looks real to me) with an accent of teal and coral. The shells are also attached on long gold threads. These are great for a vacation to the beach but the teal and coral accent colors work for any summer activity. The three tortoiseshell bracelets are the Sierra, Suzie, and the Tanesha. This one came from Old Navy and I actually already wore it back in April. (Here) I like showing you how I styled something before so that you can see that there are multiple ways to wear things. In fact, I have been thinking about taking one printed top and showing you a large number of ways to style the very same top. Would that be something that you would like to see or would you get tired of seeing the same top over and over? Let me know what you think. These distressed jeans are a pair that I bought at a local boutique. They are by a brand called Sneak Peek and I haven’t been able to locate them anywhere. I really like the distressing for a relaxed, knock-around look, and the raw hem fits this look perfect. I did my best to find some similar jeans so check these out.
Here is my view from the balcony. We are overlooking the pools which Joe REALLY likes. Lol! This is a very family oriented place and there are a ton of children who play in the pools and the lazy river. Emersyn stuck her toe in the hot tub once and declared that it was waaaaay too hot. Lol! Did I fail to mention my shoes? Lol!!! These are curtsey of “this little piggy went to the market” and they are a one-of-a-kind that was special made just for me. Hahaha! I don’t know why you gurls put up with me. Lol! I had someone ask me if I “faked” my trips with Rodan + Fields. WHAT???? Why on earth would I do that? They wondered if I paid for my trips and then “acted” like I “earned” the trips. Hahaha!! Nope! I get to work from my phone, I get to work anywhere I want, I get PAID to just share my experience and tell about my love of the products, and I get all kinds of wonderful gifts and perks!
