The best-laid plans of mice and men can be changed. Yesterday I was so thrilled to celebrate my Rodanniversary and I have been looking forward to it for months. I want to thank everyone who ordered products and those who also chose to become a business partner with me. I just wish that I felt better. Wouldn’t you know that I would get sick on the one day that I wanted to celebrate? Lol! I ended up going to the doctor and being prescribed medicine for an extremely sore throat. I feel like crap. 😟I also have plans to be on my way to Livingston, Tennessee today to visit my family. My two grandsons have baseball games tonight and my granddaughter has a ballet recital this weekend. I can’t wait to visit with mom and dad and to see my son and DIL along with the rest of my family. I am crossing my fingers as I type this on Wednesday night that I am feeling better or at least not worse. I will make sure to keep my distance and not be giving away those nana kisses like I normally would because I don’t want to get them sick. So, in the next few days, I plan on showing you some outfits of red-white-and-blue.  Memorial day is this weekend and I hope that you have plans to spend it with family or maybe a picnic or a trip to the lake. You don’t HAVE to dress in stars and stripes in order to look festive and I hope you like these looks. These are all outfits that I have styled and posted on the blog earlier. I just didn’t feel like editing the pictures and linking to all of the different clothing items. At the end of the blog, I will link to each outfit and you can look back at that post to see if the items I linked to in the post are still available. I appreciate your understanding and even though I don’t feel good you know that I HAVE to do a post of some sort. It would aggravate me to death to let you gurls down. It may not be the “best” post in the history of blogging but I bet you can appreciate my efforts. Lol! If you are traveling this weekend please be careful. There will probably be a lot of traffic on the road and I want all of you to arrive safely. Eat a hotdog or hamburger and make sure you have watermelon and think of me. Lol! I love a good cookout!!! So, I am just curious, what are your plans and what do you have on the menu for a cookout?

  1. White Denim Jacket
  2. What to wear for Easter
  3. Buffalo check
  4. Audrey Hepburn style
  5. All dolled up
  6. Cold Shoulder and Stripes
  7. Celebrate the 4th

Love the red, white and blue. I’m so proud to be an American. Spending the weekend watching my oldest son team rope and attending our annual air show. My grandmother would fix you a whiskey with lemon and honey and all would be good. Have a safe and fun weekend.

  22. Hope you feel better soon so you can totally enjoy your family time! I enjoyed looking at your different hairstyles in the various outfit pictures. I love your hair in “All Dolled Up” and think it makes you look young!

  23. Love all these outfits, but they are all too hot for NC in late May! I’ll be in shorts and tank tops. Although we might get some rain from the tropical system forming in the gulf. Just got back from a week’s vacation so no plans, just relaxing, going out to eat, and hopefully some pool time if the rain holds off! Feel better!
