I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday with loved ones. Joe and I had a fabulous weekend but it was a little different than our normal Easter. I told you that the winter weather had been getting to me so we decided to head to the beach for the weekend. When you live in the area of the country that I live in and you say beach you will mean Myrtle Beach, SC. That seems to be everyone’s go-to beach in our neck of the woods. I didn’t even pack either of us a bathing suit because I had no intention of getting in the water at this time of year. I just wanted a change of scenery and to listen to the Ocean. It was FABULOUS!!! We stayed at a resort that we had never stayed in before and were thrilled with the facility. There was a restaurant, a lounge, a fitness center (I never stepped foot in), and pools everywhere. I loved that it was also just a couple of blocks from Main Street which had some neat shops. We are already making plans to go back again soon and the Avista in going to be our resort of choice from now on. Pantone Color of the year is UltraViolet. I am thrilled with this color choice because I love purples. I went to Cato’s Fashions the other day with the intention of looking strictly for purples. I left with this top and couple other things that ended up not fitting and having to be returned. This relaxed shirt has pintucked details for a unique look. This just screams weekend or casual look but it still looks really nice. This has roll-tab sleeves but it also has a normal cuff which I like. I am not a fan of the tab and button so I might end up sniping those off. I would rather have the messy look of a rolled sleeve but I know that some of you prefer the tab and button look.I love the light turquoise jewelry against the purple color. The earring and the short necklace were part of a Plunder Posse set from March and the longer necklace with the leopard print tassel was part of a Posse set late last year. The Posse is a monthly subscription service that is 25.00 including tax and shipping. You will receive 1 to 3 items each month. There is no sign on or cancellation fee. If you are not happy with the current month’s items then you can cancel and sign back up the next month with no penalty. This month’s items are pearls and light turquoise. I love the way these suede ankle boots look on. They are so soft looking and the entire outfit takes on a lighter look. These are a pair that I bought a couple years ago at Old Navy and they are still one of my favorites. The color is what I call Fawn but they are a light beige. I added a purse to the outfit just to give you an idea. Plus, I thought it might take your eye away from the distressed jeans. Lol! I know that some of you are not fans so just look over the hole and just imagine this with your own jeans. This is a pair of Rockstar jeans and I ordered them in the tall length. That length is a little long for me but it makes a nice large cuff. I like the look of a big cuff instead of the smaller cuff.
Did you see my post about being BOLD that I did on Saturday? If not, then you need to make sure that you read that. Did you see the blog post that I did on Shapeez shapewear that I did yesterday? If you read the comments from that post you will see that BOLD was used over and over again. My sister even told me that she would not have had the courage to have posted pictures of her showing her bumps or bulges. Here is the deal, I am not thrilled to show pictures like that either but I really want to share and help women to look better and feel better about themselves. That is one reason that I love sharing Rodan + Fields with all of you. The products make you look and feel better about yourself. But, the business opportunity is what I truly, truly want you to consider. I do not like to talk about money. But, I will say that if you are willing to give this business at least 5 years that you will be amazed at what you can accomplish. It is still under the 2-year mark for me and I want so badly to help others find the extra income that they need. When I started I only wanted to make enough to pay for the products that I wanted to buy. Then, I decided to see if I could make enough to pay for a car. Now, I have my sites set even higher and when I reach that goal, I will set another one. The investment is low but the benefits are only as small as your imagination. Remember, I keep it real for you gurls!!! Check out the enrollment kits (here) and then email me. We will set up a time to talk and see which is the best way for you to join.
I really appreciate all of the shares and the pins of my outfits that you have been doing. PLEASE continue to do that, you won’t believe the difference it has made in my number of visitors to my blog.
