50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING A BELL SLEEVE SWEATERI have been listening to a book that is talking about habits. This book talks about good habits, bad habits, and the ramifications that come with each habit. It is such an interesting book that I am having trouble putting it down every day. It talks about large corporations and how they are infusing good habits into their employees and how it is affecting the lives of their employees in a positive way.50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING A BELL SLEEVE SWEATERI am only about halfway through the book but I have already started to try and change one habit. They say to start with one because it is easier than trying to do an overhaul of everything. This week Joe and I have implemented a “you can’t leave the house unless you have walked on the treadmill” rule. This one change is supposed to ripple in my life and change other things such as my diet, my mood, or my productivity. I can’t wait for all of that to change but for now, I am content with just walking and listening to my book. If you are interested in the book, it is called The Power of the Habit50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING A BELL SLEEVE SWEATERWhile I was in Georgia last weekend we had a few minutes to go shopping and my sister asked me where I wanted to go. She was a little shocked when I said, “Target.” I told her that Target has some cool clothes and they have some designer lines but I can never get any of that around here. I tried to order some things online a couple of months ago and they wouldn’t even ship them. 😲 Anyway, I didn’t buy a lot but I did like this sweater by A New Day. It has bell sleeves and a tie sleeve. The only thing is that I wish I had bought a size larger. This is a large but it just feels a little tight across the back to me. 50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING A BELL SLEEVE SWEATERI just got the Mera earrings in yesterday. There are several necklaces from Plunder that have seed pearls in them and that is what these earrings are covered with. I am sorry that my hair fell over the earrings when I took the picture, I thought I was giving you a good view. I picked these earrings to match the necklace I have on today. This is this months Plunder Posse but it just sold out “today!” That makes two months in a row that the Posse has sold out. I hate if you missed this gorgeous necklace and a set of matching earrings that came with it. If you are interested in the Posse you will need to sign up for this service after the first of next month. Everyone has caught on to ordering at the first of the month. If you are already signed up then you will still receive the set. The Maggie bracelet that I have on looks like pearls but it is actually silver beads. I still thought it matched alright. 50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING A BELL SLEEVE SWEATERI lightened the picture as much as I could trying to let you see the details on the sleeves. Black is really hard to photograph. That is why black dogs and cats are some of the last animals adopted in the shelters. Just a little trivia for you.50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING A BELL SLEEVE SWEATERI wanted a pop of color for this outfit and this purse sure fits that bill. This purse is one that I bought YEARS ago at Cracker Barrel. It is made of thick felt and the bright red with the gorgeous black buttons makes this purse a showstopper. It might even be too much for the outfit because it draws so much attention.

50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING A BELL SLEEVE SWEATERThe houndstooth pants are Pixie Pants from Old Navy. They are a couple of years old but houndstooth is a classic print so I see no reason to get rid of these pants. This pair of pants was one of the first things I ever wore on the blog. Here is the post I did in September of 2015, the first month I started. Pixie pants come in solids as well as prints and they come in ankle length and full length. There should be something for everybody.

50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING A BELL SLEEVE SWEATERWhen I looked back at the pictures from 2015 I see why I wanted to try R+F. I had no idea the difference it would make in my skin or the difference it would make in my life. I have made so many new friends and many of them are in several different countries. Just today I talked to one in Canada and a lady in New Jersey and one in New Mexico. I have traveled and won awards and prizes all while making a great paycheck. I have even earned a spa getaway in January on a beautiful lake. All of that is nothing that I ever imagined when I told my friend to order me the Reverse regimen for my sunspots. You never know what one decision will do for your life. Every one of you has that decision right now. Yes, I want to try the products. No, I don’t want to try the products. Yes, I want to see if I can make some extra income for myself. No, I don’t want any extra income. Life is a series of decisions.

Bernie isn’t it funny that I picked that outfit to show. Lol!

  2. Hey, girl! This is a “Super Tania” day! You look great! Great outfit, great hair day, too! Definitely got it goin’ on!

  3. I like the sweater Tania and in the pics it looks like the fit is just right. By the way, the sweater is the same brand as our Leopard boots which looks expensive but affordable. My husband loves to read so I will check the book for him. Enjoy your weekend. ~Lisa~

    • Tania Reply

That is right, Lisa. I knew the name brand sounded familiar to me. Lol!

  4. Love the sleeves of this sweater. I almost ordered RF with the last special that ended 10/31 but wasn’t sure which to order. I initially thought about the reverse like you started but was told I have slight roseca and wondered it I should start with the soothing regeme.

Pat, it was the sleeves that got my attention since black and a rounded neckline are not what I normally look for. I have never used Soothe but everyone that I talk to that has used it says they would recommend it to EVERYONE. They all, including my daughter, say that it has made a huge difference in how their face looks and feels. I just ordered it for my granddaughter because she has redness and small bumps on her cheeks and I am hoping this will help. Unfortunately, she inherited my yucky skin……. I will email you with some more information,

I always enjoy seeing your blog each day and finding out where you purchase your clothing

    • Tania Reply

Denise, I try to shop a wide variety of stores. I look for the best items and the best price that I can afford.

  6. Great look! You look very slim in this too! I also love the purse. I don’t think it is too much a all.

  7. Perfectly polished! ❤️You’re the cutest girl in the world! (Please don’t tell Miss Emersyn I said that).

    • Tania Reply

Haha! Emersyn would certainly have something to say about that. Lol!

  8. Black looks wonderful on you. Love the houndstooth pants. Roll Tide .
I wish I could wear Old Navy Pixie pants. They just don’t fit on my backside.

    • Tania Reply

Cathy, I never thought black looked good on me but I guess I will have to look again. Ugh, you know that as a Vol fan that I can not endorse that Tide comment. Lol!!! You need the earrings that I had on the blog yesterday.

  9. Love the bell sleeve a Tania looks lovely on you! Going to check out the pixie pants and the audio book!

That book is amazing, Donna. I downloaded the Audible app and purchased the book for that. I play it as I walk and also when I am in the car.

  12. I love the sweater and the purse is absolutely perfect with the Houndstooth! I always forget about shopping at Cracker Barrel, but they have some very cute things! Now I need to head to Old Navy to see if pixie pants will fit me! 🙂

That’s one of my favourite colour combinations. Black, white with a pop of red. Well done!

  14. I just bought the Black and Gold Pixie Pants from Old Navy that you have pictured, which was totally a step out of the box for me ! Would love some help styling them…..top, shoes, accessories, for the holidays. I’m afraid of over-
styling these pants. Love your style !

Kay, I thought those were soooo cute. I think that I will go and buy them to so I can figure out the best way to style them.

Hi Tania, your blog and fashion sense is inspiring. I’m a little bit older than you (65) but have tried to incorporate some of your ideas into my wardrobe and I must say it feels great! I do have a question about your jewelry. It seem you have quite a few long strand necklaces, do you store them in a box or hang them up?

    Thank you

    • Tania Reply

Mary Lou, I appreciate your kind words. I do try hard to bring you gurls a different look and one that is easy to incorporate into your own wardrobe. I do hang my necklaces. I ordered an over the door organizer for them. http://rstyle.me/n/ct6kikb6xt7

  18. This is a great fall look, Tanya. I have to tell you I am disappointed that Plunder did not show the length of this necklace. I looked at it the first week of November but decided not to order as the pic n
Made it look like a short length.

    • Tania Reply

Vicky, I am sorry that you missed out on the necklace. It is one of the prettier Posse’s that I have seen. I know that there is almost always a 3″ adj. on all the necklaces and when they are shipped they are at the shortest point.

  19. Usually I comment on your clothes, but today it is about your hair. Your hair is beautiful—It looks fluffy and full, textured, and with about ten shades of blonde. Does R and F have a hair care line???

    • Tania Reply

Thanks for being so great about leaving comments. No, R+F is anti-aging and so far they haven’t branched out into the hair care arena.

  20. Libby Morgan Reply

Love your blog!! Okay!! Am I missing something?? You say that sweater is a large but it feels tight- no way would you wear an XL!! You look way smaller than that!! I’m just saying😜😜

  21. Love this outfit. And that necklace. ……..if it ever comes back in stock I would definitely want it. Your purse is perfect with the outfit. Totally put together!

  22. I think this is one of my favorites that I’ve seen you wear. What a great look!

  23. Elaine Wilson Reply

I recently bought quite a few pieces from Target’s “a new day” line and I love them all! They fit well, are nicely constructed and look great. The top looks lovely on you!
