50 IS NOT OLD | LOUNGEWEAR FOR COMFORTGurls, today we are talking loungewear! I was contacted by Kristin from Anthony’s Ladies Apparel about doing a blog post. I admit that this was a store that I was unfamiliar with so I went to their website to check them out. I found out that they were located in West Palm Beach Florida and that they had been in business since 1895! I figured that if they had been in business that long then they must be doing something right!50 IS NOT OLD | LOUNGEWEAR FOR COMFORTThere are days when you just want to curl up on the couch in something soft and comfortable. That is a common occurrence in the Stephens household, especially on a Sunday afternoon. You know that I still want to look nice, even if I am just lounging, around and this is perfect! I opened this as soon as it came in the mail and then I had to let ladies at work all touch it. I listened to all the oohs and ahhs as they felt of the material. The La Cera Cardigan is a duster style and is long sleeved and machine washable. I plan on wearing the cardigan with multiple items. I can just see this with a black turtleneck and jeans, that will be something for a future post. 50 IS NOT OLD | LOUNGEWEAR FOR COMFORTThe duster is made with a shawl collar. I do like a shawl collar on cardigans, I think this type collar looks good next to your face.  50 IS NOT OLD | LOUNGEWEAR FOR COMFORTI might have worn this outfit on my trip to my sisters this past weekend. Okay, I did wear this! It was soooo soft and I always want something comfortable to wear when I travel. When I got to my sisters I changed into my pajamas for the night and then I went back and grabbed this duster to wear as my robe. In fact, I used this as my robe the entire weekend because it was so soft.50 IS NOT OLD | LOUNGEWEAR FOR COMFORTThe pull-on knit pants have straight legs and a 29″ inseam. The entire outfit is cozy. The entire outfit is soft. The entire outfit is comfortable. I am glad that Kristen introduced me to Anthony’s and I think you will be glad too. The folks’ at Anthony’s have even set up a free shipping code for my readers. Just enter 50isnotold at checkout and get free shipping on your first order.

Good morning !! I love the outfit especially with the weather changing here in Ohio … but NEED to know where you got those shoes !!!

  2. I adore loungewear!!! Cuddl Duds is my fav. Have a few new pieces to wash up. I get mine via QVC. It is hard for me to go shopping by myself. Have to walk with a cane due to hip replacement that dislocated during rehab & required another surgery which made my left leg 1/8″ longer.

How fun is that outfit! And w your added style of all the bling pearls it looks very classy too! I have a duster sweater just like that and love it for the same reasons, and have used it as my robe too! Have A Blessed Monday!

This is really pretty. I like the softness of it a lot. It still is a stunning outfit and looks comfortable . Tough to find that in women’s clothing!

When I go shopping I will run my hand down the clothing. I will try to find fabrics that feel good against my skin.

It is soooo soft and cozy! Perfect for those snowy days to come.

  6. Soft, stylish and cozy….perfect! I NEED that BELIEVE necklace! Lol….what is the name of that one?

  7. I love this outfit! I have a top with the Zac & Rachel label. I sent a picture of the label to my daughter because her daughter, Rachel, was dating a guy named Zac and I thought she would get a kick out of seeing the label. Then my daughter told me that they broke up. Oh well.

  8. How can you afford all these clothes and where do you store them all. Most husbands would have a fit.

Jo, I am a careful shopper. I hold on to my clothes for years and mix and match. I have them in several closets through the house. Lol!

Love the outfit, adorable. Where did you purchase your shoes?!!! What a great combination!

  10. Could you tell us more about the shoes? I would’ve but like a close up picture. Shoes are where I falter when it comes to loungewear. Thanks.

Beth, those shoes are Chanel. I looked them up once and they were so crazy expensive that I about died. They were a gift to one of my sister’s friends who couldn’t wear them. Luckily for me, my sister couldn’t wear them either and never bothered to look them up on Google. Otherwise, they would have ended up on eBay. lol!

  11. I read your post about this loungewear from Anthony’s. I’m heading north from Florida to Michigan Saturday and was looking for some warm clothes to take, so I stopped at Anthony’s yesterday and found the loungewear you posted about. They had a shorter version of the jacket you showed and I bought it. I hope to wear it with jeans and a white shirt on the plane or when I land in Michigan. Going from 80 degrees to the low 30’s is going to be a bit of a shock!

That is fabulous, Carol! Wasn’t that the softest material? I loved the feel of it. Did you buy the gray or the black?
