I have had several people ask me about blogging. The questions usually range from how do you get started, how do you find readers, or how do you make money. These are all really good questions and if you asked 30 bloggers you would probably get 30 different answers. The other question usually revolves around products and reviews. When you start blogging you can expect to start getting lots of emails! I probably get between 4 or 5 emails a DAY asking me to do a review, sponsored post, or someone wanting to do guest posts. If you notice you do not see me do very many of either. I am very picky about the companies I sponsor. I want to make sure that their products fit my personality and my pocketbook. I have had some oversea companies contact me and their clothing was so outrageously priced there was no way I would put that on my blog. If I won’t pay that price, I certainly am not going to bring it to you just to get something for free. This outfit suits me to a “tee.” I have worked with the Purple Poppy multiple times and for a very good reason. I LOVE the clothing, I LOVE the quality, and I LOVE that I can afford the items. The Tempo Paris Printed Skirt in Taupe is a real statement with lots of unique details. I was smitten as soon as I saw it. ❤️ It is so elegant and casual at the same time, how can that be?Each layer is so lightweight and airy. One touch of the fabric had me oohing and ahhing. I turned in inside out to check out the fabric and I was not surprised when I found out it was 70% Silk and 30%. The label didn’t specify but I am betting on dry clean only just to be safe. Erin usually sticks a little extra present in my package such as this pearl necklace. The first time I saw the extra pink wrapping paper in my package I was a little confused. I opened it up and was delighted to find this necklace. It is very light weight because the pearls are suspended on fishing line. It has a lot of movement and I thought it went perfectly with the skirt.I chose to wear a taupe top with the skirt and stay in a neutral palette. However, I think a bright pink top would have been stunning with this skirt. I can also see me taking this to the beach with me. I guess I need to talk Joe into taking me to the beach first but this skirt will definitely go with me.
The skirt can run small according to the Purple Poppy but I am wearing a large which is my normal size and it fits great. If you have any doubts I am sure you could call and talk to someone and be sure to tell them Tania sent you. Lol!
I am not sure if you have ever noticed but there is a search bar on the far right at the beginning of each post. You can type in Purple Poppy to see all the other outfits I have worn from them. I was amazed to see that my first item was last May. Wow! I have been working with them for over a year!
When you check out, type in Poppy to receive 10% off. PLUS, if you spend a $100.00 you will receive free shipping. That is a pretty sweet deal. Once you get this skirt be sure to let me know how you wore it.
