50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE IS ALWAYS CHANGINGI hate it when I have something to do the next day and can’t sleep at night. I guess I am either hyper because I am going somewhere or I’m doing something and am filled with excitement. I will wake up and look at the clock or try to decide if it is time to get up and then I can’t go back to sleep. What usually happens is that when it really is time to get up then I am so tired from not sleeping that I am groggy the rest of the day.50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE IS ALWAYS CHANGINGThis happened last night. I was excited about the virtual launch, I’ll tell you more about that tomorrow, and I just couldn’t sleep. Joe got up at some point and I asked what time it was, I was thinking about 5:30 or 6:00, and he said it was 3:00. Ugh, I knew it was going to be a long night. If that wasn’t bad enough, about 5:15 I heard the door to the bedroom open and the pitter patter of little paws come over to the bed. We always close the door at night but it must not have shut well because Beckley came right on in. At that point, I just gave up and went into the kitchen to start the day. I spent the rest of the day yawning and fighting sleep. I am surprised I was able to stay awake for the launch. If I had been watching the launch at home I probably would have never made it until the end. I believe this is referred to as, “dragging my tracks.”50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE IS ALWAYS CHANGINGI bought this KORI tunic back last fall. I wore it once before but I never managed to get a photo so I had to try again today. There are times when I am just running so late that I don’t have time to take pictures, there are times when I take pictures and they are HORRIBLE, and then there are times when I can’t believe I went out of the house looking like I did. Those are all pictures (for the most part) that you don’t get to see. I occasionally will put a “what not to wear” post up just for your enjoyment but it is hard to do. It is easy to mess up but it is hard to say, “Hey, look here at the mess I created.” Haha. Since this tunic is no longer in stores I found others that I liked for you. I looked for an empire waist and something with a pretty pattern and color.

50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE IS ALWAYS CHANGINGHas your style changed over the years? Mine has, in fact, it has changed and grown just since I started the blog. I signed up last year around the first of June to sell Plunder. When I signed up there was a bonus kit you could buy on special for 20.00. I think these earrings were in that purchase of jewelry. I never wore them! Instead, I gave them away because I didn’t think I would EVER wear them. I thought they were too “red” too “big” and just too “in your face.” Evidently, I am now into red, big, and in your face because I love these earrings. Lol! The Annie necklace I didn’t order forever because I do not like dainty. I didn’t think I would ever wear it but I was wrong AGAIN! I like having a dainty necklace that I can wear in the V of a top or dress. This one is now retired but the Shanna is almost identical. The difference is that the Shanna is all gold. My party that I have ongoing right now is www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania7 If you ever try to order from a party and it says that it doesn’t exist then try the next number up, example tania8 or tania9. I have found that it is easier to name my parties like this instead of trying to come up with a new name every time. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE IS ALWAYS CHANGINGI wear my bling magnetic bracelets with everything. The red one was a Valentine’s Day special and the red and green ones were Christmas specials. However, there are still plenty of others that you can choose from including the two that are on the Mother’s Day specials list. The Tina is silver with Plum stones and the Evan is silver with iridescent stones. If you are interested in learning more about Plunder and how you can join just email me at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com. This is a perfect time since I am gifting a FREE piece of jewelry to everyone who signs up this month.50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE IS ALWAYS CHANGINGPerforated items are really big this year. I must have been ahead of the curve because I bought this Nicole Lee purse 3 or 4 years ago. Lol! Look at me being a trendsetter. Hahaha! I bought the purse because of the color and the design was secondary. I would like the purse better if it didn’t have all the flowers on it. I like just the perforations.

50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE IS ALWAYS CHANGINGI am probably rushing summer a smidge but I wanted to wear sandals and show off my pedicure. This is a classic t-strap sandal in navy. This pair is by Tommy Hilfiger.

50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE IS ALWAYS CHANGINGThese are the cutest leggings. I bought these last year in Marietta, Georgia when I went there for a vintage fashion show. There is a little tea shop on the square that has all kinds of unique items. I always shop there when I am in town. This is the first time that I have worn the leggings since I bought them. I put them on this past winter but they looked like spring or summer to me with the pretty lace insert. I can’t believe I didn’t get a better picture for you.

50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE IS ALWAYS CHANGINGBecause the website is still a little CRAZY, how about a Freebie post? Everyone who places an order for the Lash Boost (as a PC) will get their choice of a FREE Sunless Tanner, Sunscreen, or Body Moisturizer. You order both of the items so that they will be shipped to you and I will reimburse you the amount of the product you chose. Here is the link to Lash Boost. If you don’t need Lash Boost you can still receive one of these items when your purchase is equivalent to the cost of the Lash Boost. This will be good through April 30th. 1. Hi Tania,

I love the patterned top and the leggings too. What do you I do with tights a similar colour to yours, I thought they were leggings. What shoes could I wear with them? You certainly can put things together well. The colour of your handbag is great, and the pattern.

I too just got these earrings and love them! Cute top!

  3. I love this look and the earrings! I felt the same way about the Diana’s…too big and bold! But once I wore them yesterday, I fell in love with them. They make such a statement!!! I also just did a French pedicure on my toes and I love the clean look! Have a great Wednesday!

  4. I like not only the colour but the shape of your tunic. The purse is pretty to. I never see anything like that.

  5. I am going to have to check out that boutique in the square in Marietta, it is just a lil drive away. Do u remember the name? The detail on the leggings make them unique! Lovely outfit as usual! Got my t straps sandals on too today! But desperately need a pedicure!

I’ll have to ask my sister the name of the boutique, I can’t remember. For some reason I think it had something to do with bubbles. Lol!

  6. i say the same thing, Tania….my style is evolving! But hopefully that’s true for all of us because wouldn’t we look funny if we dressed the same as when we were 20? ha ha!! In fact, on my blog today, I’m talking with a brain coach about copying what the young girls are wearing—you know..young like you!! 🙂

My style is definitely changing. As a mother of 3 now grown children I can focus more on my clothes than on theirs! You look great as always. Looks like I need to check out the new Plunder!

  8. Hi Tania! I had ordered some plunder jewelry in your party, and haven’t heard or seen anything…wanted to check with you and see if that party has been closed or should I be getting concerned!!! Thanks!

Susanna, I called Plunder and they said that the package was delivered at the mailbox around 11:00 today. Be sure to check when you get home. I hope you like your items!

      • Hey Tania! So, yes! The jewelry was in the mail! Love it!!!! Yea!!!!

  9. Tina Carpenter Reply

Cute outfit & purse. Your nails look so pretty too!

  10. I love the outfit. And I was excited for you, I hope your R & F virtual show was everything you expected. Hope you had a great night!!

  11. Susan in SC Reply

Oh my gosh Tania! This WHOLE look is perfect! From earrings to shoes! Love, love, LOVE it. I used to dress more tailored and “professional”, but have noticed that my look has gotten a lot more casual and I wear way more dresses than I used to as well.

  12. Tania, I have a question regarding the cute Plunder magnetic bracelets like the Evan or the Tina. The websites says 9″. Is that the circumference of the bracelet? I have very small wrists and find that some bangles just fall right off. Love your blog!!! Thank you!!

    • Tania Reply

Susan, if you have small wrists then these might not work for you. Most of their bracelets are adjustable but these are not. The inside measures approx. 8″.
