50 IS NOT OLD | THE DAYS OF MY LIFELast night I posted on FaceBook a simple task. I asked that everyone name something I love. It was so fun to see all my friends commenting about my family, fashion, vintage, Plunder and Rodan and Fields. They were ALL correct because I do in fact LOVE all those things. There are of course a whole lot more than those things but that is a good start. I probably should have said name things I don’t love, that would have been much harder. Note to self, “post of facebook to comment things I don’t love.” Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | THE DAYS OF MY LIFEI told Joe today that I think my blog is kind of like a soap opera. Cue the music, “As sands through the hourglass, so are the days of Tania’s life.” Lol! Today Tania slept in because I think she is catching a cold. She seems to be moving kind of slow, maybe she needs another cup of coffee. I know she needs to go to the nail salon because I see that she broke her nail. What color will she choose, will she ever get her nail fixed, who shot J.R.? Hahaha! 50 IS NOT OLD | THE DAYS OF MY LIFEI am still snickering over the whole J.R. comment, it doesn’t take much to amuse me. Lol! Concentrate, concentrate! I am going to leave the top to later when you can get a full view of it. So let’s start with my earrings. I don’t normally get a good picture of my earrings so I was thrilled to see this shot. Taking your own pictures is hard. I don’t get those “action” shots like most bloggers get. You will never see me walking down the street, smelling the roses, or even looking in the window of a store. I have photographer envy 😒 The earrings are the Aggie. These are one of my first purchases and I have always loved them. HOWEVER, they are not on the website any longer. I bet they have sold out already. Plunder is in a transition phase right now. The new catalogs will be hitting the website on April 1st and there are a lot of items retiring to make room for the new jewelry. Some of my favorites might be on the retiring list. If you have something that you would like to order, be sure to order now. I don’t have a list of retiring pieces but once they are gone they won’t be coming back. I want to thank all of you who made Plunder purchases last month. It was my best month EVER! I love getting messages from ladies who tell me that they love their items! Because everyone loved the jewelry and everyone loved the discount I am once again going to be running that special again this month. EVERY purchase over $50.00 (excluding tax and shipping) will be getting a 15% off discount check from me. This month there may also be a few giveaways splattered throughout the month. It is Joe’s birthday month and I feel like celebrating!!! To place an order simply go to www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania2I50 IS NOT OLD | THE DAYS OF MY LIFEI think you will be safe on the Loudene necklace because it was a new item this past fall. This is the turquoise cross and the matching earrings are called Jean. The wrap bracelet is called the Queenie. It is a lot of little metal shapes and roses and it is adjustable. The turquoise bangle was a Monday madness special, (crossing fingers it comes out in the new catalog) and the Edith bracelet matches the earrings above. The party I have open right now is www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania2 and I also have the next party open because I am going to be closing that one soon. The other party I have open is www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania3 50 IS NOT OLD | THE DAYS OF MY LIFEI am glad the picture is fuzzy of my shoes because I haven’t gotten a pedicure yet. A pedicure is on the agenda! The navy suede open-toed booties are a pair by Marc Fisher. I love the gold accents because it jumps off of the navy. There are two gold zippers, one on each side, one is active and the other is just for looks.

50 IS NOT OLD | THE DAYS OF MY LIFEThis top is waaaay too cute. It is another Umgee top that I bought the other day at Trendy Threads. When I bought the top, Kim (the owner) commented that I would have to wear something under it. Just because all the areas in the navy have holes in them is not a reason. Lol! I have on a navy camisole under the top so no one gets a peep show. I would normally think this is more the colors of fall and winter but this top is sleeveless. Since it was still a little chilly I decided to wear my navy long cardigan from Joan Rivers.

50 IS NOT OLD | THE DAYS OF MY LIFEThe camel colored pants are Pixie Pants by Old Navy. Some of you have commented that these pants don’t work for you because you are an apple shape. For an apple shape, you should probably steer clear of the skinny pants that are tight at the ankle. To balance out your shape you would need to do boot cut. 50 IS NOT OLD | THE DAYS OF MY LIFEOkay ladies, look at these lashes!!! When I saw this picture I was amazed. I didn’t think the Lash Boost was working for me when I first started using it but now there is no denying the results. The Lash Boost bundle deal is only available until March 9th. The deal is for a 20% savings for the Lash Boost and any Regimen when purchased as a bundle. To receive another 10% off simply signup as a Preferred Customer. Petra, that is so funny. I completely forgot to tell everyone that I didn’t like the boots with the outfit. It cut off my legs so I went and changed to a brown color boot. I was running late and didn’t take the time to take new pictures. Hahaha! You were right!

  3. I agree with Petra.
Love all your posts and putting youself out there with your sweet posts but this outfit isn’t your best.

I agreed also, Connie. I changed shoes after I saw the pictures but I didn’t take new pictures because I was running late. I actually meant to take new ones when I came home but that didn’t happen. Oh, well!!!

I am new to your blog but am loving it! I am a travel nurse and spend M-F in scrubs. While I buy high end scrubs and always feel cute and polished, I have let my regular wardrobe get a but worn and dowdy. You have inspired me to update- NOW! I was wondering if you would mind sharing how tall you are? I am just 5’1″ and would like to visualize how some of the longer tops would look on me. Thank you in advance! PS I sent you an email with questions regarding Plunder Design jewelry.

Welcome, Kathy!!! I am 5’6″ tall and I normally wear a size 10 or a large. I just replied to your email. Lol!!!

  5. Your skin and lashes are looking fantastic!! Enjoy your daily blog!

  6. I have this top too, but because I’m short, I can wear as a dress. Mine is cream in the lace parts and I wear a cream camisole under it. I love it with a mustard cardi too. Wear it with bare legs when its warm and booties or leggings and tall boots when its cold. Definitely a versatile piece :). I love how you styled it, Tania!

Cute, cute outfit!! And that missing nail! hehehe..couldn’t resist! I can’t talk, my nails are grown out like an inch! lol

    • Tania Reply

You may see that missing nail show up again. It took me several days before I got to go to the nail salon.

Funny you should say that about photos as I was thinking how bad mine were compared to yours. I have poor light in the morning before I rush out for the train. I have photo envy of you.

  9. I am so excited, I won and received today the free Bryan cuff, from the drawing Tania did last week.. I love it and it is kinda furry and it is comfortable and “be still my heart” which is on the bracelet. Thanks so much Tania. And I do love the outfit you have on, the blue is so pretty!! Thanks again..
