HOW DO YOU HANDLE FRUSTRATIONS

50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU HANDLE FRUSTRATIONSLife is not always easy. Everyone knows this I am sure. We all have our share of bumps and bruises that life throws at us. But, how do you handle frustrations?

Granted, all our frustrations are not the same. I have had frustrations that make me want to pull my hair out and then there are those that make me cry. Plunder was having a Black Friday Sale where they were offering several pieces at a great price. The frustration came from trying to order any of the items. There were so many people all trying to order that they overwhelmed the website. They had to put the sale off till Saturday, but guess what? The same thing happened again. This is an example of those little frustrations that just make you pull out your hair. I sat in front of my computer hitting refresh for an hour and just wasted my time.

Then there are the frustrations of watching someone go down a path that you know is wrong. You can try talking, begging, and praying, but they are still headstrong about going down the wrong path. This kind of frustration makes you want to bang your head against the wall. Why won’t they listen? Can’t they see where this is heading?

The frustration of watching someone wither and die would have to be one of the worst frustrations. There is nothing YOU can do to fix them. You can pray and pray and pray some more, but ultimately it is the will of the Lord that will prevail. This type of frustration makes you hit your knees. The helplessness is so overwhelming it might even seem impossible to go about your own life.

We can scream, cry, fuss, or throw tantrums, but it changes nothing. We can plead, beg, and try to make deals with the Lord, but it changes nothing.

If you want to correctly handle frustrations, all of them, then you need to pray. THIS will change something. It will change YOU! The situation may not change, but if you trust in the Lord and pray to Him, He will give you peace.Β 50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU HANDLE FRUSTRATIONSWe all have frustrations! We all have stress! Look to the Lord and trust in Him, and He will give you peace.

My Sunday posts are actually my favorite posts. Please share if you agree!!!

We all struggle with something, Gerri. But you are right, God is in control and we just need to show some faith.

As I read your post today, the first thing I did was had a Great Big Giggle at the lady pulling her hair out!! As I looked at Her, I thought this is ME!! So many times I so try to handle things…Grown Kids?? Who seem to think that the Kids are ALL going to grow out of their temper tantrums & will just automatically learn how to discipline themselves?? Then, right now my Husband is painting our Kitchen, something that should have taken even at the most, 2 days is turning into a week long thing?? Living in a Small Home, we have 5 rooms, but one is mostly for the Computer stuff, there is a lot of turmoil in trying to go on with every day living with everything in a mess…….Of course there is still the Choir at Church & a Christmas Singing that I am a part of, but the Problem is, I do not have the time to go to Practice?? What I am trying to say is THANK YOU, for reminding me, that it is not just me that goes through these things….It really helps to know WE ALL are travling this Road together & WE ALL have these trials!! Even though I know in my heart & soul & Spirit that PRAYER IS THE KEY & I do PRAY AN AWFUL LOT, that putting my complete Trust in My God is where any PEACE will come from……THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS POST!! I think I have to put it down as MY FAVORITE!! GOD BLESS & MUCH LOVE…..DEB

I am still trying to order the Lottie necklace and am STILL being told I don’t have a stylist. Any suggestions?

    • Tania
      November 27, 2016

Is the Lottie one of the new Black Friday items? I typed in the name on the website and it didn’t show anything. They are going to try again on Cyber Monday for all the Black Friday items. I know that the Plunder corporation have been dealing with lots and lots of frustrations this weekend.

As i read this message, I thought, how did she know. Sometimes unfortunately family get togethers can be frustrating when you have a drama queen in the bunch. I should pray about it, turn it all over to God.
On another note, I tried to also order from Plunder’s Black Friday but kept receiving an error message. Will they try again or is it over?

    • Tania
      November 27, 2016

You are right about family get-togethers, Cathy. Ours was pretty drama free this year. Also, about the Plunder specials. They are going to offer them again on Monday. I know that they are soooo frustrated over the website crashing, but they are going to offer something special to make it up to everybody. As soon as I know what they are doing I will let everyone know.

God must have used you to get this message to me today!! i have been struggling with a lot jd frustrations lately at work and I’ve been doing a lot of complaining and have even lost my temper, it’s done nothing to improve the situation or help fix what is wrong it’s only made me have regrets about how i’ve handled it. I need to do what I can and leave the rest in Gods hands!! yet I keep trying to take control of it and only succeed in making myself and probably others feel bad! Thank you Tania, for this message today!

Beautiful post today Tania. We all need to know you can’t carry the burden alone. Have faith and give it to God. He has the plan and he will give you the grace to make it through. Just pray and listen. He will answer. Blessings on this beautiful Sunday.

I started following you because I loved your fashion sense. I am a just turned “50” year old woman who works for the church in ministry and was looking for great “church” appropriate wear. Imagine my delight to on my first Sunday following you to discover you are also a “Sister in Christ! I love, love your Sunday blogs and all that you do!! Thank you for YOUR ministry!! Peace πŸ™πŸ»

Thank you for that post, Tania! I really needed to know that others face the same struggles & need to be reminded of the Lord’s provision & goodness! I had a very rough Thanksgiving at my daughters & have been down & worrying about it since. I know there is nothing I can do to “fix” the situation & must continue in prayer! Thanks for being my “sister in Christ!”

I’ve just recent found your blog and I just love you! I think you are adorable! This post really hit home for me. My wonderful husband passed away five weeks ago yesterday after a long illness. He was only 59. I miss him terribly but I know he is in a better place and is no longer suffering. Praying and the will of God help me get through this sad time in my life.
