50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSWas it Art Linkletter that said, “Kids say the darndest things?” Never mind, I googled it, and that is who it was. I really don’t remember Art Linkletter, so I am not sure how I know this quote. But, this is what came to my mind when Joe was schooled a couple years ago by a 4 year old.50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSWe were having a baby shower for my DIL, Kayla, before Emersyn was born. Some of Joe’s family had driven over for the shower, and then afterwards we went to his mother’s house to visit and catch up wth each other. Joe’s cousin, who used to live in the house right next door, also brought her granddaughter with her. She is a beautiful little redhead that is full of spunk and smart as a whip. Joe was trying to make small talk with her, asking all kinds of questions. How old are you, do you go to school yet, where did you get that red hair? You know, those questions you sometimes ask, but don’t really pay attention to the answers. She patiently answered his questions, I’m 4, I don’t go to school, from my daddy, etc. About 30 minutes later, Joe found himself sitting beside her, and once again tried to ask her some questions. Here was his big mistake. He had forgotten the questions he had already asked. When he asked her how old she was, she looks around to the others in the room, and then her response was, “I’m still four!” I thought I was going to pee on myself!!! Lol! 50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTS50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSI don’t think that I have worn this top before. I am not sure what you would call this color. Sometimes I refer to it as yellow, and some times as chartreuse, but it is a yellow-green color. I have had this top for several years, I am not sure where it came from. Probably from TJ Maxx, it I had to guess. The brand is called Violet & Claire.

Chartreuse Top: SimilarTank | Similar | 50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSI am so sorry gurls, I know that it is torture for you to see all this wonderful jewelry by Plunder. I can’t help it, I have fallen in love wth this line. I have on two necklaces today, the Jane and the Quincy. The “t” pendant is not included with the purchase of the necklace, they have a different medallion called the Allison that they pair with it. However, this would make a cute lanyard for any of you who have to wear name badges. I have the Quincy doubled for this look, here is where I wore it long. I have an August contest running with Plunder. EVERYONE who places an order from Plunder through me in the month of August, will be entered in for a $25.00 Plunder gift certificate. You can buy a bracelet, and you will be entered into the contest. To shop with me, here is the website:  Try copying and pasting this in the address line, and hopefully it will work. If not, then type in my stylist number 241007 in the stylist box at checkout. I have started an online party, and there is a dropdown box where you can choose Tania’s P Party at checkout also. Several of you ladies have already taken me up on this offer. Good Luck!50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSThe palazzo pants I have on are navy and white. The pattern is a little crazy, but I like that. Haha I bought these pants last fall at a street fair. The brand is called Lime & Chili. I love palazzo pants, and if you have never tried a pair, you need to go buy a pair now. The first pair I bought was from Cato, and they were probably only 20.00 or so. Do not invest a huge amount into a pair, they are just a trend and will soon go out of style. But, they feel like you are wearing pajamas, they are silky and flowy. You can shop at WalMart in these, and no one will talk bad about you the next day. Lol!

Palazzo Pants: Similar | Similar | Plus50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSAren’t these wonderful pumps? I told you that you could wear these shoes multiple ways. You think that when you have a vibrant print shoe, that you have to wear solids, but guess again. These Nina Shoes (c/o) are called Pink Miami Floral and I am LOVING them! Here and here are where I have already worn these shoes, and don’t be surprised if you see me in them again before it gets winter.50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSThis is what happens when you get your heel caught in the hem of your pants. It was quite a struggle getting it untangled. The pants are stretchy and silky, so they wrapped around the heel. The fact that I had my purse in my other hand did not help the matter.50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSMy baby boy, Beckley, came over for some lovings. I just couldn’t resist this cute little stinker. You can tell these pictures are from several days ago, I still had on the old fingernail polish. 50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSI am such a good photographer. I either cut of my shoes or I cut off my head. Here I am as the Red Queen, “Off with her head!” Haha  I was smiling at Joe as he was coming down the road, I think he had forgotten some papers he wanted to take to work.50 IS NOT OLD | STYLE PRINTED PALAZZO PANTSWednesday’s Wardrobe Linkup is at the bottom, so be sure to scroll down.

I am so enjoying your blog. You write so warmly and I love your sense of fashion. I’m curious, tho, about your dog’s name, tho. My mother was born in a town called Beckley and other than this, I never hear it anymore. Keep on styling and writing!

Tania, I absolutely adore everything about this outfit! I just got a pair of palazzo pants from Cato myself…on super duper clearance this time of year, too! I think they were under $10! And yes, they are like pajama pants and perfect for really hot and humid days. This yellow/chartreuse color looks amazing on you, too!

Love the look! I just may give the palazzo pants a whirl. I read somewhere that when wearing palazzo pants to wear wedges, the heels shouldn’t catch the hem of the pants! Those necklaces look perfect with that outfit & every other one you’ve modeled! Kids stories are always the best! You just never know what you’re going to get……

I would like to order the necklace and add the rhinestone pendant but I can’t find it online. Did they discontinue?

The rhinestone pendant that I have on, is not from Plunder. It is one I bought last year in Marietta Georgia at a little coffee shop. I just attached it myself. Sorry:(

The pants look great with the shoes, which I wouldn’t have thought to put together. The whole package is great. I love your story! My brilliant, red headed grandson (about 3 at the time) was talking to his uncle on the phone. I said “Who are you talking to, Carter?” He said Seanie I said “What is Uncle Sean doing?” He said (Get ready) “Talking on the phone” DUH!!!!

After teaching preschool for 25 years I can assure you that kids do say the darnedest things! Love this look but find these pants hard to wear if you’re short. My bestie from college was tall and looked great in them, like you!

I have this outfit!!! I’ve never thought about wearing these items together. So true about the top. Mine is the same color and brand with pleats at the neckline and from TJ Maxx. It seems so long on me since I’m only 5’2″. You’re so stylish!!!

There’s a picture of you on Pinterest wearing these pants and a gorgeous mustard colored sweater. I love those pants, and they’re what led me to your blog. Still don’t have a pair of my own, but I think after seeing this today…

I’m so happy that print pants are in right now and love that you rocked that look in a palazzo style. All my palazzos have been solid color (mainly black) and now I’m intrigued to try some new patterns in them!
